(Pre Installation Notes and Support Files V4.1)
Easy QuranWaHadees software does not need installation. However it needs following files and
fonts to run properly.
Win7 and Win 8 has all the needed support files pre installed. Ideally EasyQuranWaHadees.exe
Win XP and Vista need following support files. Included in the CD and in the downloadable version.
Microsoft Dot Net, (Dot Net 4 support is required for Ver 4.x)
Microsoft Service Pack 2,
wic_x86_enu.exe Required for Windows XP to install MS Dot Net 4
iComplex.exe Required for Urdu support for Windows XP
Fonts: Muhammadi Bold font, Alvi Nastaleeq font, msuighur font.
Microsoft Dotnet Framework
Right to Left languages Installer (Urdu Language Installer. Not required for Win7/Win8 operating system)

Layout Change – Error is generated and Layout is not changed / created
Some operating System / Virus protection software do not allow updating or change files placed in
Program files. This is why when you change or create a new layout error is generated.
Please go to C:\Programe Files\Easy QuranWaHadees folder
Please copy the “Easy QuranWaHadees” folder and paste it to any other place say on Desktop.
Please run “EasyQuranWaHadees.exe” from this folder. Try to change the layout. It should be ok.
Note. Layout change error has been fixed in Ver 4.0

Audio Not Working: ,
For users of Ver 4x
* Please check the “Audio” folder is placed in C:\EasyQuranWaHadees V4.x\Audio
This is the default location. If program is installed in any other directory, please place audio folder in that
directory.
* If folder is placed properly and Audio still not working. Please make sure “Windows Media Player”
is your default program to run audio.
For users of Ver 3.x
Please check the “Audio” folder is placed in C:\Program Files\Easy QuranWaHadees
Please copy this “Audio” folder and paste in C:\Program Files\Easy QuranWaHadees V3.3
Some operating system make “Program Files x86” in that case paste “Audio” folder in C:\Program Files x86\Easy QuranWaHadees V3.3
Just for a cross check other EasyQuranWaHadees files will be placed in the same folder where you have pasted “Audio” folder.
If Audio is still not working go to next step
Audio Troubleshooting Note: If Audio is not working after the Audio folder has been placed as in Audio Note as above, please follow,
Go to Audio folder i.e. C:\Program Files\Easy QuranWaHadees V3.3\Audio There should be 114 subfolders named 001 to 114.
Go to 001. There should be 8 files. Double click on any file and hear the sound. Note what media player program opened the file. If it is other than Windows Media Player, please “right click” on the file, go to “open with” and select “Windows Media Player” as default program.
Double click any file again and make sure “Windows Media Player” opens the file. Run Easy QuranWaHadees and listen the Tilawat. (It takes some time to load the file, please wait for few seconds.)
Tilawat Wa Tarjuma (set 4). Unzip and place the “Audio” folder as mentioned above.

Software for 64bit Operating System:
An error is generated whose detail is as under, while running software on Win7 32bit / 64bit machine
“ System. Invalid Operation Exception: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.”

At this site there are two downloadable Data Base Drivers. One for 32bit operating system and other for 64bit operating system.
Please download the appropriate driver and install. File size is almost 25MB. (More articles and overview of this error can be seen there.)
